Chef's Palette is one of those cafes that makes perfect sense. A well thought out menu, brick wall interior with vintage sewing machines, indoor and outdoor seating, attentive service and located in the heart of Strathfield Plaza. Chef's Palette has extensive brunch and lunch menu with a range of tempting desserts. The service is considerate and genuinely friendly, even though, the cafe is packed and super busy. To start, I ordered Egg Benedict in Salmon with hot chips which I can guarantee you, did not disappoint. The menu I ordered sounds not special but they make it special. This place is a worthy addition to the Strathfield.

Buttermelt cafe in Strathfield is a great cafe with decent food. This place is located where the frozen yogurt Moochi used to be among the Korean restaurants. They offer a variety of food between classic breakfast menu, desserts, and dinner items with freshly squeezed fruit juice. The place is open early morning and stays open until late and the service is excellent, for the staff are friendly so you would feel welcomed. I ordered the Egg Benedict in Salmon in Hollandaise sauce which is one of my favourites. It was perfectly cooked with running yolk and steamed broccoli. Along the iced long black is always good on the sunny day.
